Congrats to Libby & Justin!!! These two departed in grand Aggie style Saturday night with lots of whoops and gig’ems. The game day bus drove away slowly with the newly weds blaring the “Noble Men of Kyle Field” into the night. It was the perfect ending to a perfect night. WHOOP!!!!!!
Libby & Justin…have a fabulous time in Europe! And take tons of pictures! 😉
It seemed like their wedding day would never come, but it finally arrived! Erin & Mike were married in a beautiful ceremony at The Woodlands United Methodist Church this past Saturday. Erin looked absolutely stunning! Everything was perfect for this lovely couple including the weather (the day was forecasted to have hurricane-like rain 2 days before). Hope they are enjoying paradise in Kauai right now!
Last weekend we had so much fun shooting Erica’s bridal session at the Astin Mansion. She was absolutely stunning! And the historic mansion was just the perfect setting. Trust me, we are dying to share some of the amazing shots…but we can’t…we have to wait until after their wedding in JUNE!!! Ahhhh! Well, if there’s one good thing about being waaaaay behind on our blogging, it’s that we still have some photographic goodness to show off of our lovely bride, Erica.
Alex and Erica’s engagement session was non-stop laughter from beginning to end. Honestly, sometimes it is a challenge to get clients to loosen up, relax, and just have fun in front of the camera. That was not the case for these two…at all. They were completely comfortable…giggling, talking, cuddling up for a shot. It made our job almost too easy! They are so beautiful and so in love, and I think it really shows in every image.
Congrats, Alex and Erica! ❤ you guys!
It hardly seems like it’s been 10 months since we first met with Andrea & Kipper, but the reality of their wedding has set in. We’ve gotten to know these two love birds and are glad to call them close friends. We look forward to watching them grow in their marriage and see where life takes them. Check out a quick peek from their wedding at Villa Antonia in Austin this Saturday, and congrats you two!
Once upon a time we set a rule for ourselves that we would not photograph close friends or family. I guess it might sound a little silly for those of you who aren’t photographers, but trust me, there are a thousand reasons for this well-intentioned decision. I will spare you the laundry list and just say that my top reason was the unreal PRESSURE you put on yourself as a professional to do an amazing job.
Well, it looks like our “no family” rule has officially flown out the window. It started with Thomas’s brother’s wedding followed by my best friend’s wedding…and now my one and only baby sister, Erin, is getting married. At the end of the day, we figure that since we’ve been blessed with a smidgen of creative talent and while we’re on this spinning rock, why not work with the people we love?! It is an absolute honor to be able to photograph the friends and family that are so close to our hearts. We can never thank all of them enough for their love, support, and laughter. ❤
Erin + Mike: Part I
Some girls dream of a big, lavish wedding that will be an event for the record books, while other brides fantasize about an intimate, sunset ceremony on a beach surrounded by their closest loved ones. Obviously the “wedding of your dreams” comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, but every girl deserves to have that one fairytale day where she feels like a princess marrying her dashing prince charming (it might even include riding off into the sunset on a noble steed…after all, we are in Texas, y’all!).
Bridget and Coulter were lucky enough to get to experience the best of both styles of weddings. Soon after they started dating, these two realized that they had found the “one” and were married in a small, sweet ceremony. Since there were a few elements missing that day, Bridget contacted us to help her recreate part of her fairytale wedding complete with her handsome prince, an amazing ball gown, and a picturesque castle. The only things missing this time were pumpkins and glass slippers!
Bridget & Coulter…we absolutely loved working with you both. You are truly kindred spirits…which is a little scary and refreshing depending on how you look at it. Haha! May you be happy and blessed always! ~T&E
